So for today's entry, I decided to hunt for the best local minced meat noodles(also known as bak chor mee) and asked around to see which were the few more popular ones! After hearing so many great compliments from reputable sites such as hungrygowhere , I decided to head down to this place called Meng Kitchen to taste and see how good it really is!



It was amongst many other food stalls selling almost the exact same thing, however, it was the only one that was so packed! Tip: Try avoiding the lunch crowd by heading there at around 1130 to secure yourself a seat!



The place is not airconditioned and it can be quite challenging to find a parking lot around the area, but for the sake of good food, it is definitely worth it!
Although Meng Kitchen is famous for their minced meat noodles, there were many other varities available for patrons to try.




I ordered the kway teow mian while C ordered the thin yellow noodles (mee kia). It was priced very affordably at $3.50 per bowl.





They are very generous with the minced meat helpings; and even though I asked to add extra mushrooms, there wasnt any extra charge! The best thing about this place is that it is open 24HRS! So when you have sudden random cravings for noodles at ungodly hours of the day, you can always head down to thomson for a piping hot bowl of delicious minced meat noodles!
